My academic career started in Utrecht where I studied Biomedical Sciences where I also earned my PhD. Next, I pursued a postdoc position at the CR-UK funded Beatson Institute for Cancer Research. This experience honed my ability to swiftly adapt to new domains and grasp the core drivers of scientific innovations.

Transitioning from academia, I joined Catalyze, drawn to its mission of accelerating (early) innovations that have a positive impact on the world. Starting as a grant writing consultant, I progressed to managing a team while also taking on interim roles, including subsidy management for agritech leader Cosun and CEO of Dutch startup Ntrans Technologies.

As Manager of Strategic Consulting, I aid clients in aligning their innovations with research and funding agendas, facilitating the development and implementation of healthcare innovations in academia and industry via subsidies, loans, equity, and business consulting. I thrive on posing incisive queries to clarify clients' needs and goals, ensuring they actualize their ambitions. I prioritize fostering the personal growth of my team, recognizing it as pivotal to our collective success. By assembling teams blending Catalyze's expertise with that of our clients, I advocate for collaborative value creation as our pathway to success.
