Esther Breij has worked on the discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies in multiple disease areas since 2008, with a focus on oncology. In her current role as Head of Translational Research at Genmab, she works with a team consisting of translational research leads, scientists, research associates and other experts to design and execute the translational strategy for novel antibody compounds in preclinical or early clinical development. In addition, Genmab’s scientific communication department, which is embedded in Esther’s team, provides scientific communication and writing expertise for regulatory documents, posters, presentations and scientific manuscripts.
