Suruchi is a senior scientist at Certara – a consulting company that uses scientific and quantitative approaches to help with drug development process. Suruchi has a dual background in biological sciences and mathematical modelling. She did her PhD from University of Oxford and later pursued post-doc at Leiden University Pharmacology division. Suruchi carries out consultancy work at Certara in the field of QSP – quantitative systems pharmacology, where she applies mathematical modelling to answer quantitative questions in drug development.

I completed both BSc (Biomedical Sciences) and MSc degree (Infection & Immunity) at Utrecht University. In 2015, I obtained a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from VU University Amsterdam. Wanting to support the real-world application of scientific ideas I joined ttopstart as Consultant, after which I was promoted to Senior Consultant and Team Lead. Looking to focus more on operations and organizational development, I started my current position as Operational Resources Manager at Genmab in summer 2020. My role is to create, connect and align processes, resources and strategies to achieve company goals, and make tangible impact for cancer patients.

I received a Master degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences combined with a specialization in Science Based Business at Leiden University. During my student life I worked in hospitality, took place in several committees and the board of our study association and I’ve been a regional manager for SpelenderGrijs, a non-profit organization that entertains elderly people. The obtained experience and skills help me in my current role as Project Manager. I take care of several projects in order to support and represent Dutch biotech companies. Next to these projects, I’m also responsible for accountmanagement, acquisition of new members, communication and event management.

Katrien Reynders-Frederix is the Chief Executive Officer of Pan Cancer T, a spin-off from Erasmus MC (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) that advances first-in-class TCR T-cell therapies for hard-to-treat solid tumors. She joined the young biotech since the foundation in September 2020. Before, Katrien worked for more than 16 years in biopharma where she led international teams and global programs, notably in the immune-oncology field. In a previous role, she was program director at Celyad, where she oversaw the program of the autologous CAR-T Lead candidate CYAD-01.
