Speaker Innovation for Health 2023
Bernhard Englitz | Associate Professor, Donders Institute - Radboud University
Bernhard Englitz graduated from the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Germany and performed research in computational neuroscience in the US, France, Switzerland and Germany before starting the Computational Neuroscience Lab at the Donders Institute at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. His work focussed on acoustic processing and vocal communication in animals using advanced analytical methods. He received a VIDI grant in 2018, a MSCA grant in 2015 and an NWO Open grant in 2017. His lab holds the record for spatial localization in socially interacting animals, and he works with several industry partners (Noldus IT, Sorama) to bring these methods to application in the life sciences.
