Elisabeth Vreede-Chabot | Patient Representative
After her professional career, Elisabeth Vreede-Chabot (1946) has been, among other activities, a patient representative, based on her personal experience as both an informal care giver, and a patient herself. In doing this she has a special emphasis on the (frail) elderly. She has many years of experience helping people who have issues with health care professionals in the broadest sense; is an involved member of various research teams in the design of studies concerning home care at the UMC Utrecht; and has a special interest in advocacy for careful and rational development and implementation of new technologies and home-based management programs.
