Jan Bart Houwing | Associate Director Public Policy & Governmental Affairs, MSD
Jan Bart Houwing, MSc. is responsible for government affairs at MSD in the Netherlands. One of his goals at MSD is making sure the environment is receptive to innovations and able to implement them as soon as possible. As part of a global company he sees the difference between the uptake of innovations in different countries. Trying to optimize the Dutch innovation ecosystem and trying to implement best practices from all over the world is one of his main drivers. Before working at MSD Jan Bart has worked as a management consultant for a wide range of organizations and before that as a political assistant to a Dutch MP.
