Josi Boeijen obtained an International Liberal Arts and Sciences degree (magna cum laude) from University College Utrecht and Leeds University, before obtaining her medical degree with honours at the University of Utrecht. She currently works as general practitioner trainee and combines this with PhD research focusing on home-based management of acute respiratory tract infections. In the Therapy@Home study, acutely ill patients with a respiratory tract infection are managed at home instead of in hospital, making use of remote monitoring technology embedded in a collaborative care network.
