Innovation for Health 2026 - Young Academic Innovator Pitch Session Application Form

To support early-career researchers, Innovation for Health is offering 10 free participation spots for PhD students and early postdoctoral researchers. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to pitch their research at Innovation for Health and present their work to a broad audience from academia, industry, and policy.

Please fill out this application form to submit your application for the Innovation for Health 2026 Young Academic Innovator Pitches.

Deadline for the submission: 20 February 2026.

Research Article for a General Audience (600–800 words)

As part of your application, please upload a short article (600–800 words) that explains your research to a broad, non-specialist audience. The goal is to clearly communicate the essence of your work to readers from academia, industry, policy, and the wider Life Sciences & Health ecosystem.

Your article should:

  • Be written in clear, accessible English for a general audience
  • Avoid or clearly explain technical jargon
  • Describe the problem your research addresses and why it matters
  • Highlight the innovative aspects and potential real-world impact of your work

Selected contributions may be featured on BiotechNEWS & Life Sciences, so please write your article in an engaging, article-style format rather than as a scientific abstract.
