Innovation for Health offers early-career scientists the opportunity to get exposure for your research, to raise your professional profile, to connect with key players and gain insight in the vibrant Life Sciences & Health industry.
If you are a PhD student or (first) postdoc working on innovative research project in Life Sciences & Health, you can present your research at Innovation for Health to key players in the sector with a poster and get selected for a pitch presentation.
Submit your abstract before 10 March 2025. All submitted abstracts that match the criteria, can be presented with a poster presentation. Also, all poster presenters will have the opportunity to be selected for an oral presentation in the programme, during the I4H Young Academic Innovator Competition on 3 April 2025.
In total 8 finalists will be selected via public voting between 10 and 24 March 2025. The jury members will evaluate all 8 pitches and select the winner. The winner of I4H Young Academic Innovator Competition will receive the award that comprises not only of a €1,000 cash prize, sponsored by Genmab, but also a scholarship of €1,490 to attend the popular BioBusiness Summer School. The winner will also be featured in the spring edition of BiotechNEWS & Life Sciences magazine with an article!
By highlighting innovative work and giving a stage to talented researchers, we aim to empower young scientists whose research has the potential to make a real impact in the Life Sciences & Health industry.

In addition to the sponsor award from Genmab, the winner of the Young Academic Innovator Award will also receive a scholarship of €1,490 to attend the BioBusiness Summer School, taking place from 30 June to 4 July 2025 in Amsterdam.
The winner & research topic will also be featured in an interview in BiotechNEWS & Life Sciences, the leading magazine that covers news and progress in the Dutch & Belgium life sciences sector.
