Marieke van Buchem is innovation manager at CAIRELab LUMC, where she is dedicated to identifying opportunities, launching new AI projects, and cultivating partnerships with external organizations. Furthermore, she just handed in her PhD in natural language processing (NLP) applications in healthcare. With a background in medicine and medical informatics, her research included developing, validating, and implementing NLP models, both at LUMC and Stanford University.
