Our fifth online TOPX Expert & Networking Meeting takes place on 28 October 2021. During this online event, we'll discuss the topic of Leaning-in, without burning-out. We will have 3 guest-speakers who will share their insights and lessons-learned with regards to this topic. The event will be co-moderated by a TOPX member. After the talks of the speakers, we will have a break-out network session, where you can meet and interact with other attendees in an intimate setting.

Meet The Speakers

Arjanna van der Plas
Independent leadership coach and co-founder of WOMEN'S HUB Zurich

Arjanna van der Plas is a formerly Silicon Valley-based leadership coach who teaches women leaders how to lean in without burning out. In the past 10 years, she's helped many leaders and experts to overcome mental barriers, and achieve their professional and personal goals.

Arjanna is certified as a co-active coach by CTI, the largest in-person coach training school in the world, as well as by the International Coach Federation. Moreover, she is trained as a yoga and meditation teacher, which inspires her to incorporate mindfulness and somatic exercises in her coaching practice.

She also draws from her background in industrial design engineering (TU Delft) to find creative solutions for her clients’ challenges. You can read more about her on her website arjanna.com or find her on Linkedin.

Martine van Vugt
SVP Corporate Strategy & Planning at Genmab

Martine van Vugt is a Senior Biopharma executive with 20 years of industry experience. Proven leader with track record of leading high performing global cross functional teams in a networked biotech environment. Expert in corporate transactional and licensing operations, such as strategic partnering, in- and out-licensing, as well as asset divestment and purchases. Effectively blends analytical skills with a natural leadership style grounded in integrity and science. As Genmab’s SVP, Corporate Strategy and Planning and member of the Executive Committee, Martine is the strategic advisor and confidant of the CEO, leading Corporate Strategic Initiatives, such as design and negotiation of strategic partnerships, corporate strategic planning and organizational design. In addition, Martine oversees and leads Portfolio/Project- and Alliance Management.

Petra Dijkman
Aiming for a circular health care economy
Petra Dijkman aims to make our health care system sustainable by adapting the principles of the circular economy. Trained as a biomedical engineer, holding both a MSc and PhD from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Petra first continued her academic career at the University Hospital Zurich before she left academia to also get acquainted with the industrial sector. Since 2017 Petra has been working as a grant consultant for a variety of customers, such as corporates, start-ups, universities and healthcare institutions. Last summer she voluntarily ended her job as Managing Consultant to now dedicate her professional life to create a sustainable future for health care.
