Meet your Match: Regulatory Affairs

Friday, June 28, 13:45 - 14:45

Femke Sanders | Head of Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance, Immunic Therapeutics

I am Femke Sanders, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at Immunic Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing a pipeline of orally administered, small molecule therapies for chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Since I can remember my dream has always been to become a veterinarian. But once I was working in veterinary practice, I felt I could do so much more with my knowledge, so I joined the pharmaceutical industry and found my new passion: translating science into valuable treatments for patients. And my biggest inspiration in my work is to, together with a highly motivated team, contribute positively to the life of patients and their families. I currently have 12+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in different size companies (Merial, Genzyme, ProQR, ISA Therapeutics and Immunic) working on a variety of products from early-stage development to post-marketing in neurology, immunology, ophthalmology, and oncology.
