Judith Smit is an entrepreneur who is driven to enable life science companies with strategic business- and financing support to ensure that more innovations reach society. She holds a PhD in Protein Crystallography from the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Erasmus MC, and she has dedicated the past 10 years of her career to the art of strategic fundraising and business plan optimization. She has raised over >€150M of funding for innovative companies in the MedTech, Therapeutics, Diagnostics and Digital Health. Since 6 years, she is the director and managing partner of FFUND BV, where she has joined forces with experienced biotech entrepreneurs to translate their knowledge into valuable revenue management support for life science companies. She has grown the FFUND team from 0 to 20+ people and is dedicated to become a pivotal European player to support start-ups and scale-ups to fast forward the development of innovations for the medical field.
