Dr. Tatjana Josefs is a Senior Managing Consultant in the Life Sciences & Health Department at Catalyze, where she supports academia and industry in advancing innovative LSH solutions through strategic funding and business consultancy. She specializes in aligning breakthrough innovations with national and European research and funding agendas, enabling clients to accelerate development and implementation.

Tatjana obtained her PhD in Cardiovascular Diseases through Maastricht University in collaboration with the NYU School of Medicine as part of an international doctoral program. Following her PhD, she conducted postdoctoral research at Amsterdam UMC, further strengthening her scientific expertise before transitioning into consultancy in 2022.

Since joining Catalyze, Tatjana has progressed from a grant writing consultant to a Senior Manager, now leading a team of 10 consultants. Together with her team, she supports clients across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem in securing funding, shaping innovation strategies, and translating scientific advances into real-world impact. Her combined background in biomedical research and consultancy enables her to bridge the gap between science, innovation, and commercialization.
