Tammo Vastenburg works as a territory manager at Boehringer-Ingelheim. In addition, he also represents Boehringer Ingelheim in the Young Innovators of Medicines (YIM), which is part of the Association for Innovative Medicines – a pharmaceutical branch organisation. In his field-based position in the Northern part of Netherlands, Tammo is responsible for the sales of a portfolio of innovative medicines. He can be considered as an open and pragmatic person, who closely considers customers’ needs, exemplified by having organized several successful local symposia with the aim of improving knowledge in new therapies. Tammo has an MSc degree in Finance at the University of Groningen and is currently completing another master´s thesis in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
Erwin Vermeulen has a background in Business Administration and Strategic Management and worked for seven years as a grants & incentives consultant. He now works at the Dutch Association Innovative Medicines (in Dutch; Vereniging Innovatieve Geneesmiddelen, or VIG) as a policy advisor for innovation in life sciences & health. He is also a member of the Young of Innovators of Medicine. Erwin is motivated to make a success of innovations that contribute to solving societal challenges and is on a mission to make the Netherlands ‘Boston by the North Sea’.
