Marjolein Pompen is Director Value, Access & Pricing at Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands, leading the local access team dedicated to securing patient access to innovative treatments. With more than twenty years of experience in Dutch market access, including roles at BMS, Roche and Pfizer, she is a respected expert known for her deep knowledge of the Dutch reimbursement system and landscape, as well as health technology evaluations. Throughout her career, she has ensured that numerous innovative products achieved full reimbursement, creating patient access to these treatments.

Since 2010, she has also been actively involved at industry level in working groups of the VIG (the Dutch association for innovative medicines), and on behalf of BMS Leiden has hosted visits from the then Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport and the current Minister of Economic Affairs. Marjolein holds a PhD in Immunology from the AMC (Amsterdam University Medical Center).
