In September 2024 Mirjam obtained her doctoral degree from Leiden Institute of Chemistry (LIC) under the supervision of prof. dr. Mario van der Stelt with a dissertation titled ‘MAGL modulators – structure-guide optimisation and characterisation’. Currently, she is setting up a Leiden University & Oncode Institute spin-out company to bring MAGL inhibitors towards clinical use.
