Jeroen Blokhuis | Head of Academic Innovation, BD & Partnerships Europe | General Inception

Jeroen Blokhuis leads academic innovation, BD & VC partnerships for General Inception in Europe.

Jeroen has a PhD in comparative immunogenetics and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. He co-founded Biotech Connection Bay Area and co-chaired the biotech/pharma investment committee at Life Science Angels in Palo Alto.

Since 2016, Jeroen led business development and partnerships at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy in San Francisco. Here he established collaborations with other nonprofit organizations, biotech and pharma companies, managed a portfolio of 100+ patents, and spun out and invested in over 10 startups now valued at over $1.5 billion.
He returned back to the Netherlands in 2019, and after roles as CBO at Pivot Park and CEO of LungHealth, joined General Inception in 2022 to help translate exciting scientific discoveries into new ventures.
