Kees Recourt | Investment Manager | Mibiton

Kees started his career as a post-doctoral researcher at Wageningen University and Research, investigating molecular aspects of food quality. He subsequently worked at Licentec, a private technology transfer office owned by ABN AMRO and NPM Capital. Since 2004, he expanded his experience as an Investment Manager at the Mibiton Foundation and realized more than 80 investments at early stage Life Sciences companies. He is also a Sr. Investment Manager at InnovationQuarter, the regional development agency for the Province of Zuid-Holland.

The Mibiton Foundation invests in Life Sciences facilities and equipment enabling Dutch SMEs to accelerate and enhance their R&D activities. Examples of investments include analytical equipment, first series of medical devices, clean rooms and agro-food R&D facilities. Investments are generally provided as financial lease arrangements.
