08:00 - 08:45
This session starts with a keynote by Marcelina Dutkiewicz, CEO of EfficiencyTactics ApS - an AI training, strategy and advisory company helping life sciences companies and individuals adopt AI with confidence and quality mindset.
Marcelina will speak to the importance of vision in AI Transformation of Life Science Companies (vision for the future of work and operations), why 95% of all AI pilots fail (spoiler - not due to technology) and what is the role of leaders in AI transformation.
Then Marcelina will be joined on stage by Iris Kolder, PhD, Associate Director, Translational Data Science, at Genmab where they will speak about implemented AI projects, impact and what it took to get there:
1. Low effort, low budget example: Internal GPTs for goal setting and performance reviews.
(We will explain what GPT’s are, no worries)
2. CRO metadata standardisation using Generative AI
(Enabling automation in workflows that were previously considered too variable to standardize, while maintaining quality control and accountability)
3. Cynomolgus single-cell atlas to support reduction of animal testing
(Sustainable AI use by building on existing public data, creating reusable infrastructure, andpositioning AI as an enabling layer rather than a replacement for biological expertise)
4. TEDD - Target Evaluation and Drug Development tool
(How GenAI can responsibly augment complex scientific workflows by improving scalability, reducing reliance on external vendors, and accelerating insight generation without compromising rigor)
Audience is invited to ask question along the discussion to get as much insight and enablement as possible.
"We are looking forward to having you in our session and bringing actionable AI knowledge without tech jargon barrier."
