CALLING early career scientists and innovators:

SHOWCAsE YOUR RESEARCH  

Innovation for Health offers early-career scientists and innovators the opportunity to get visibility for their research, expand their professional network, connect with key players and gain insight in the vibrant Life Sciences & Health industry.

If you are a PhD student, young postdoc or early career innovator working on innovative research project in Life Sciences & Health, you can present your research/innovation at Innovation for Health to key players in the sector with a poster and get selected for a pitch presentation.

All submitted abstracts that match the criteria, can be presented with a poster presentation. Also, all poster presenters had the opportunity to be selected for an oral presentation in the programme, during the I4H Young Innovator Competition on 26 March 2026 and potentially win the I4H Young Innovator Award, a prestigious prize that includes € 1,000 cash, an in-kind scholarship for BioBusiness Summer School of € €1,560 and an article on the online BiotechNews platform.

Registration Fee

The fee to attend the entire conference programme of I4H2026 and to present your research with a poster presentation is €149 (excl. 21% VAT).

HOW TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

Checklist

  • Fill in the abstract submission form
  • Your abstract should be written in English, max 300 words  
  • Besides your abstract text, you can submit your poster in PDF

Poster guidelines to presenters

Showcase the broader context of your research and where your results fit in. Focus on the key scientific or societal challenge you’re addressing, the potential solutions, how your research contributes to solving this problem, and how your data supports your findings.

Here is a list of guidelines that will help you present your research effectively:

  • A0 format, portrait
  • Written in English in a manner that can be understood by educated lay people. Jargon should be avoided.
  • The texts are written in a way that is easily readable, preferably in short sentences and using bullet lists.
  • Font not smaller than 24
  • The headline of the poster consists of a title, summary, names of authors and the organization
  • Figures, tables and graphs are labeled and contain only information that is relevant to the text.
  • The poster should have no unnecessary distractions or embellishments
