Gerty Holla is Coalitionmanager Life Sciences Health at Amsterdam Economic Board, a public-private network of companies, research& educational institutes, hospitals and governments in the Amsterdam Region.

Gerty collaborates with partners on projects in the field of Life Sciences Health and Biotechnology. On ecosystem development, and on innovations that enable better and more efficient prevention and healthcare, and reduce health disparities. Biotechnology, prevention, data, AI, and valorisation through startups can make an important contribution to these goals, as can strengthening the Life Sciences & Health ecosystem and stimulating public–private collaborations

Previously, Gerty worked as an Investment Manager Life Sciences & Health at several investment funds, including InnovationQuarter and BioPartner Startup Ventures. She has also worked for the Advisory Council for Science, Technology and Innovation (AWTI) and Amsterdam Science Park. She serves as a committee member for the LSH Take Off and Faculty of Impact programmes of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).
