Hans Gelderblom is Professor of Medical Oncology and Head of the Department and Clinical Trial Unit at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). His clinical and research interests include access to molecular diagnostics and targeted therapies, the treatment of bone and soft-tissue tumors, and access to medicines; he is also a member of the advisory committee of the National Health Care Institute of the Netherlands (ZiNL). With more than 25 years of experience in oncology drug research, he has witnessed major developments in the field and is strongly motivated to help address the challenges facing oncology today.
