As of Nov 1st, 2025, Dr. Marco de Boer MBA (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcodeboer72/) has been appointed as Chief Business Officer of Biotech Booster. It is Biotech Booster’s vision to be the central Dutch hub for all stakeholders in biotechnology valorization to create impact for society, economy and environment. Biotech Booster is building an innovative valorization program to boost early-stage biotech ideas.

Marco has experience in several Life Science and Biotechnology fields. He has a Ph.D. in molecular biology, and an MBA from the Nyenrode Business University. He has had held several management positions: CEO at Predica Diagnostics, CEO at NTrans Technologies BV, COO at Crossbeta Biosciences BV, Head of Research at to-BBB, Head of Bioprocessing at Kerry I&F, Director Biomolecules at Isogen Life Science, and Research Manager at Unilever Research, Vlaardingen.
