Improving your negotiation skills can lead to your career advancement and better business deals. And still, many women face challenges with negotiating. In this TOPX event we will talk about the importance of negotiation, the gender differences in negotiation outcomes, and how you to improve your negotiation skills.

Meet The Speakers

Mira Vasic

Dr. ing. Mira Vasic helps individuals to develop their strategic leadership skills and organisations to become truly inclusive. She is an expert on topics of female leadership and gender-diversity. Mira is a frequently asked international keynote speaker and teaches IEMBA courses for Geneva Business School. She is a Senior Partner and co-owner of ‘In Touch Female Leadership & Career Academy’ and has a tremendous passion for empowering women.

In the past ten years, Mira has been working as a researcher and consultant for both commercial and governmental sectors in Serbia, Spain, Greece, Italy and the Netherlands. She also holds a PhD in Structural Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2015) and fluently speaks 4 languages. Her value is her enthusiastic approach and her great sense of humour.

Mira is a keynote speaker at TOPX Summit 2022, this workshop will be a preview of her contribution to the Summit on 23 September 2022, in Oss.

Liesbeth Ceelen, CEO BioLizard

Liesbeth Ceelen holds a master degree in veterinary medicine and of laboratory animal sciences. After earning her PhD in veterinary sciences, she started her career at J&J in 2007. Next, she was working in different start-up and scale-up companies in the biotech and healthcare field where she took on various roles (operational, quality, projectmanagement, scientific, sales and business development). Since 2019, Liesbeth’s main role, as CEO, is to make BioLizard the go to bioinformatics consultancy company in Europe and the US. She is also scientific advisory board member for the Novalis Biotech Incubation Fund.

Alex Cloherty, co-moderator

Alex Cloherty is a Junior Ambassador for TOPX Network and an award-winning science communicator, a PhD candidate, and an avid cyclist. Her doctoral research focuses on the role of autophagy, the 'recycling system' of the cell, during viral infections like HIV-1 and Dengue virus. Alongside her PhD, Alex is the writer and creator of "Microbial Mondays", a blog where she regularly posts articles and videos with the aim of improving public understanding of microbiology. Aside from science, Alex is also passionate about low-waste living, feminism, and playing ukulele.
