The future is calling: Cell therapy @ J&J

During this session we will address the unmet needs of patients living with cancer as we will explore Johnson and Johnson’s novel therapeutic strategies that are advancing treatment goals and improving patients’ lives.J&J produces innovative cell therapies in Belgium for the treatment of certain types of cancer in Europe. Together with Legend Biotech, we recently built our first state-of-the-art facilities both in Ghent and Beerse to make the manufacturing of CAR-T cell therapy possible.

The decision to build the new European production facility in Belgium is a recognition of the unique local life sciences ecosystem, which is highly regarded within the global innovative life sciences environment. The development and production of transformative therapies such as CAR-T cell therapy require great innovative strength and strong collaboration. Aline De Bock | Learning and Development Lead CAR-T EMEA | Johnson & Johnson

Aline De Bock is the Learning and Development Lead for J&J CAR-T in the EMEA region, shaping the future learning strategy and continuing partnerships to enable inflow and development of talent, crucial to make a successful Cell Therapy Manufacturing possible. 

Aline started her career at Johnson & Johnson with an internship on her Master’s Thesis within the pharmacovigilance department. Right after, she officially joined Johnson & Johnson in 2017, initially focusing on compliance roles at the J&J commercial organization. As a project manager she played a key role in care optimization projects in collaboration with hospitals, and later as a patient value manager, she led initiatives to integrate patient insights and drive oncology solutions in collaboration with patient advocacy groups.Aline holds a Master's in Biomedical Sciences with a specialisation in Quality Management.
