Diede Brunen | Principal | Biogeneration Ventures
Diede Brunen is a Principal at BGV where he is responsible for evaluating and structuring new investment opportunities across all disease areas. Diede has extensive experience in translational biomedical research, spanning the areas of oncology and immunology. He serves as a board director or observer for multiple BGV portfolio companies. He performed his PhD research in the group of prof. René Bernards at The Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam, during which he used genetic screens to identify novel synthetic lethality targets.

Monique's collaborative approach fosters team success, drives innovation, and transforms challenges into opportunities. In her role, she shapes strategies, guides complex projects, and leads her team at the intersection of life science and data science. Before joining Danone, Monique held various roles in academia, consultancy, and a start-up, always driving innovation.

Wouter Strijker is business development manager at MIMETAS with over 10 years of experience across commercial positions in biotech. Currently he establishes drug development partnerships and service projects with global pharmaceutical companies to develop innovative therapies based on Mimetas’ technological strengths. Wouter started his career at HollandBIO, the Dutch biotechnology industry association, to unite and support key biotech players in The Netherlands.
