The future is calling: Cell Therapy @ J&J

CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy) is an innovative approach to eliminate cancer cells, which work by harnessing the power of a patient’s own immune system. They are created from the patients’ own T cells and are engineered to eliminate cancer cells expressing a specific antigen. To support the CAR-T program in EMEA, J&J has build in collaboration with Legend Biotech two CAR-T manufacturing centers in the Ghent area (Belgium). The QC laboratories operates from the existing J&J Beerse site. The presentation provides some insights on the set-up.

Aline de Bock | Learning and Development Lead CAR-T EMEA | Johnson & Johnson
Aline De Bock is the Learning and Development Lead for J&J CAR-T in the EMEA region, shaping the future learning strategy and continuing partnerships to enable inflow and development of talent, crucial to make a successful Cell Therapy Manufacturing possible.
Aline holds a Master's in Biomedical Sciences with a specialisation in Quality Management and started her career at Johnson & Johnson in 2016 with an internship on her Master’s Thesis, followed by compliance roles. As a project manager she played a key role in care optimization projects in collaboration with hospitals. Later as a patient value manager, she has led initiatives to integrate patient insights and drive oncology solutions in collaboration with patient advocacy groups.
