Often, when one is doing a study (BSc/MSc/PhD) in the life sciences area, the perception we have is that you will end up with a career in R&D. However, with the knowledge- and experience base you bring from your education background, there is a multitude of other possible directions to go in: did you for example ever consider moving towards large scale manufacturing of biologics or vaccines?
The biopharma manufacturing space offers loads of technical and scientific challenges, with added to that the complexity of a highly regulated environment. That could be perceived as annoying and limiting, but why not consider it as an additional challenge to overcome, deepening your creative and scientific capabilities?
