Employer branding

Employer branding is crucial in finding and retaining the right candidates to your company. This interactive workshop will be provided by Panda International, a specialist recruitment consultancy dedicated to the growth and evolution of the Life Sciences sector. The session will dive into the importance of employer branding and practical tips and tricks on how to become a Top employer in Life Sciences & Health in the Netherlands.

A new vision on talent for science & business

Collaboration is key to solving challenges. QTC recruitment is opting for a new vision on talent recruitment, with public and private parties working together to form shared education programs and a human capital pool. This would not only be highly beneficial for the talent itself, but is also of great added value for the companies involved. The best practice, Beyond, has been actively stimulating collaboration between MedTech companies in recent years and developed combined education programs for the pool of logistics personnel within the region. This session will be an interactive session, showing the benefits of collaborating in a competitive landscape for recruiting and retaining employees.

Finding the engine of medicines

Working in the pharmaceutical industry is changing: analysts are expected to be familiar with data processing. To increase the availability and expertise of production personnel, the engine of medicines, innovative education and training of future and current analysts is needed. The Centrum voor Innovatief Vakmanschap Bio Sciences and the Hanze Hogeschool are tackling the need for change. This session will be exploring the need from pharmaceutical companies and how policy, education and industry itself can adjust to this need.

Attracting talent from beyond the borders

A large part of the work force in the Dutch life sciences sector is international. To facilitate the international workforce in the Netherlands, 11 governmentally funded expat centers work together with companies to provide the variety of services for companies and expats entering the country. Thermo fisher Scientific is one of the companies with an extensive international workforce. This session will provide insight into how to attract talent from abroad, the services that expat centers provide for companies and how companies can position themselves to reach the international talent pool.
