In this presentation you will hear more about the different sectors and jobs available to you with a bachelor degree. Often, it’s hard to navigate the job market, the recruiters at Oxford Global Resources give the candidates ideas and support to grow their career. At first an introduction is given about what a recruiting company does. Next, we will pay attention to the major different opportunities and jobs opportunities within those sectors. We will finish with the jobs you haven’t thought about. You can often be surprised where your scientific skills are needed and utilised.

Rens van Roosmalen | Science Accountmanager | Oxford Global Resources

Rens is a Science Accountmanager at Oxford Global Resources. He has a master’s degree in Molecular Sciences and a broad background in chemistry and biology, he later specialized in inorganic chemistry, catalysis, and supramolecular interactions. He did an internship at AMOLF in Amsterdam to study the effect of supramolecular interactions in perovskite solar cells. After this internship, he realized his favorite part about science was having discussions with others and talking about experiments, so decided to pursue a career as Science Recruiter. His background in chemistry and biology helps him to understand the scientific sector, industries and people very well, which enables him to help both experienced and starting professionals in their career. Since his start at Oxford, Rens has been able to help many scientific professionals with a new step in their career.
