In this session, we present the Leiden Early Drug Discovery and Development (LED3) Hub, an active network of drug discovery researchers across the Faculty of Science at Leiden University. Together, we represent all aspects of the early drug discovery pipeline, leveraging our lively network to create synergistic power in academic drug discovery.

LED3 has become the core of the Netherlands' most prestigious drug discovery seminar series: the LED3 seminars. These monthly events bring world-leading scientists to the Netherlands, with recent highlights including Nobel Laureate Carolyn Bertozzi, PROTAC pioneer Craig Crews, and many others. As LED3 grows, our collaborative efforts increasingly serve as a bridge between academia and biotech, strengthening the connection to the Leiden Bio Science Park. In this session, we will present our network and showcase scientific success stories of collaborative discovery leading to the development of novel therapeutic candidates.
