Ephion Health is a digital health company that uses wearables and AI to create clinically validated digital biomarkers. They focus on measuring functional capacity, a key metric for disease severity and treatment efficacy.
Ephion's platform is hardware agnostic, integrating data from various wearables and devices. Their AI algorithms analyze this data to provide objective and sensitive measures of disease progression and treatment response. This approach leads to more efficient clinical trials with reduced sample sizes and shorter durations. Ephion technology is patented and certified as a software as a medical device in both the EU and the USA. Currently used by key opinion leaders to monitor patients with neuromuscular diseases, Ephion is partnering with pharma and biotech to co-develop new solutions for conditions with bigger markets such as frailty, stroke or multiple sclerosis.
