Hester Tak joined Oost NL in October 2018 in the role of Senior Investment Manager for the Healthcare sector. She is responsible for identifying and funding new innovative healthcare companies in the Eastern part of the Netherlands. Prior to this, Hester was a founder of a consultancy company specifically focussing on helping start-ups as well as developing new public-private partnership structures. She also set-up the Technology Transfer Office for the Leiden University Medical Center in 2005. She holds degrees in Biomedical Sciences (MSc), Science Based Business (MSc), Business valuation (MSc) and Finance (MSc).
