Peter van Ruijven | Project Manager | IDE Group

Peter van Ruijven is a Project Manager at IDE Group's European headquarters in Rotterdam. Leading multidisciplinary teams, he navigates project risks for commercialisation and collaborates with partners to bring innovative MedTech products to market successfully.

Previously at Schott Minifab in Australia, Peter held engineering and leadership roles, contributing to diverse projects in Point-of-Care In Vitro Diagnostic tests and Life Science devices. With expertise in molecular and immuno diagnostics, he led teams in developing lab-on-a-chip devices for high-volume production.

Peter earned his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven Technical University, specialising in thermal and fluidic engineering. His published research, in collaboration with Erasmus Medical Centre, focused on understanding temperature effects in laser treatment of varicose veins to improve dosage guidance.
