Miriam Vollenbroek-Hutten is a healthcare executive and full professor specializing in technology-supported coaching and personalized e‑health for people with chronic conditions and older adults.

Since 2022, she has served as a Member of the Executive Board of Medisch Spectrum Twente, where she shapes the hospital’s strategic agenda with a strong focus on regional care, workforce engagement, and medtech innovation.

Miriam also contributes to national and regional health strategy through various board and committee roles, including vice‑chair of the STZ Board.

She combines over 25 years of experience in healthcare innovation, research leadership, and strategic collaboration across hospitals, universities, and industry.

As a professor at the University of Twente, she leads research on wearable sensing, behavior change, and implementation strategies for digital health, and has supervised more than 20 PhD candidates.
