Varsha Thakoersing is CEO and co-founder of IMcoMET, a MedTech start-up that has developed a unique technology to better understand, diagnose and treat skin cancer. Varsha loves her job because it is the perfect way to translate scientific knowledge into a successful business that will have a major impact on people's health and well-being. She has 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, fast moving consumer goods and academia. During her career she led several global project teams that worked on pre-clinical and clinical development of active ingredients and drugs. She has a Ph.D. in skin biology and an M.Sc. (cum laude) in Biopharmaceutical Sciences, both from Leiden University.
