Leen van Eylen | General Manager, Janssen Biologics

Leen started her career with Eli Lilly in France and subsequently joined Johnson & Johnson, participating in the J&J Global Operations Leadership Development Program. After the GOLD program, Leen held several roles with increasing responsibility in the Beerse Belgium Supply Chain organization. Later she moved to Schaffhausen Switzerland, where she was the leader of the Quality Control organization. In 2018, Leen became General Manager for the Consumer Health site in Guelph, Canada. Under her leadership, the site paved the way for record volumes during the Covid-19 pandemic. After 3,5 years in Canada, Leen moved to Dublin, Ireland, as Senior Director Vision Deliver EMEA, where she led customer service, warehousing logistics and transportation for Vision Care, Consumer Eye Health and Surgical Vision products. In this role she successfully drove a transformative agenda for Vision Deliver, including distribution center moves and new operational solutions to respond to regulatory requirements. 

Leen earned her Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Leuven Belgium, followed by the Master Degree in Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences. Later she also completed a Master in Business Administration from the same university. 

Aside from her professional interest, Leen and her husband have a passion for hiking & skiing, but equally enjoy wining & dining.  They love travelling and discovering new cultures. Together they enjoyed the different relocations over the past years, yet they currently enjoy being back in mainland Europe to be closer to family and friends.
