About Liana Steeghs | Senior Director Alliance Management, Genmab
Liana Steeghs has 30 years’ experience in the Life Sciences sector. She currently holds the position of Senior Director Alliance Management at Genmab. Since 2018 she has been leading and managing Genmab’s alliances with biotech and pharma companies comprising research, development and commercial collaborations to create differentiated antibody therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. Prior to Genmab, she has built her expertise in managing partnerships as Program Manager and Managing Director at Immuno Valley, a non-profit organization establishing public-private R&D partnerships in the field of human and animal infectious disease prevention and cure. In the initial 15 years of her career, Liana worked as principal investigator in immune mechanism research and vaccine development at public institutions in the Netherlands and the UK. Liana holds a PhD degree in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Utrecht (NL) and a diploma program certificate in Business Management and Leadership of the Rotterdam School of Management (NL).
