Marjoleine van der Zwan is an experienced executive with a passion for growth, innovation, and transformation. With academic roots in biomedical health sciences and business administration (RSM Erasmus University, INSEAD), she has built a unique bridge between science and strategy. She has led successful transformations in both profit and non-profit organizations within healthcare and financial services, with a sharp focus on people, technology, and data. Marjoleine is known for her ability to turn ideas into distinctive business models and to build A-teams where talent can truly flourish.

Her career reflects a deep understanding of people, professionals, politicians, and financiers alike, with experience at institutions such as Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, UMC Utrecht, OLVG, CZ, STZ, and MediRisk. In 2016, she became a patient herself, which further deepened her perspective on life and leadership.

Currently, as Managing Director of the Health & Work unit at TNO, Marjoleine leverages her experience and network to develop impactful innovations with her colleagues and external partners to address societal challenges in healthcare and work.

Marjoleine lives in Haarlem with her husband Erik and their blended family.
