Satwinder Kaur Singh, PhD, is Director Research at Mendus. Before she joined Mendus, she was Director Research at DCPrime, until the merger with the Swedish listed company Immunicum and renaming of the combined company to Mendus. Dr. Singh has a background in Medical Biology; she obtained her PhD in 2010 at the department of Molecular Cell Biology and Immunology under the supervision of Prof. dr. Yvette van Kooyk at Amsterdam UMC. Following her PhD work, Dr. Singh obtained her postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Prof. dr. Sjoerd van der Burg at Leiden UMC, where she specialized in the development of T-cell assays and standards for the monitoring of low frequency tumour-specific T cells. In 2012 she joined DCPrime, where she worked as Senior Scientist and since 2018 as Director Research. In her current role, Dr. Singh is responsible for the management of the Research team at Mendus, including external collaborations, presentations at scientific conferences and management of the intellectual property portfolio.
