Susan Swarte (1968) is a Registered Controller with a MSc in Business Economics, specialized in Strategy and Finance. She became CFO in 2009 at publicly listed OctoPlus NV, a pharmaceutical services company after spending 16 years in increasingly more senior finance roles at multinational FMCG companies Unilever and Numico. Since OctoPlus she has been CFO for a number of companies, in different sectors and with different types of shareholders (VC, PE, family-owned). Since May 2021 she is CFO of TNO, being responsible for finance, legal, tech transfer and commercial excellence. She is also active as supervisory board member for multiple companies. Susan is married and has three children.
