Tess has a strong scientific background in bioinformatics and oncology. During her PhD and postdoctoral research, she led projects in epigenetics and single-cell sequencing. She later combined this expertise with business development experience at The Hyve and iClusion (now Wikidata), working at the intersection of science and technology. At Johnson & Johnson, she took on the role of external innovation scout, building connections across the Benelux to identify and assess early-stage opportunities. She actively participates in events and pitch competitions, where she connects with innovators and contributes to shaping the future of Life Sciences.
