ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Present your research at the 2024 edition of the Dutch Medicines Days

Are you doing innovative research in the field of medicines development and do you want to present your research, project, and findings to a large audience of professionals in the field of drug discovery, drug development and drug use? Then, you are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for the next edition of the Dutch Medicines Days on 16-17 October 2024. You can choose to present your research with an oral presentation, with a poster, or with both.

For 2024 edition, abstracts across the spectrum of drug discovery, development, and use are welcome. Abstract categories that you can choose from are:

Abstract text

The abstract text (in English) should not exceed 500 words. The abstract title is included in the overall character count. The abstract must be structured in the following five specified subtitles: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion. A table, graph or image can be inserted for inclusion in the abstract. Please note the maximum number of images that can be included is limited to 3.

Acceptance notification

All abstracts received by the indicated deadline were evaluated by the organizing- & scientific committee. The submitting author received a confirmation of acceptance for oral presentation, poster presentation, or a notice of rejection, by email, within 2 weeks.

Closure Abstract submission

Only abstracts in the correct format and submitted before the indicated deadline were evaluated by the organizing & scientific committee.

Deadlines

The deadline for submitting your abstract for oral presentations is: 1 June 2024

The deadline for submitting your abstract for poster presentations is: 1 September 2024

Registration of authors

Names, titles, institutional affiliations and positions of the contributing authors should be provided. The presenting author (not necessarily the first author) should be identified.

Each person can submit max. 2 abstracts for evaluation.

It is not allowed to submit the same abstract by different delegates.

Register for the congress

If your abstract is accepted for oral or poster presentation you must register for the congress. The organizers reserve the right to remove from publication any abstract whose author does not register within two weeks of receipt of the acceptance letter.

Abstract review

The abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee of the Dutch Medicines Days 2024.

This platform is a good platform to present our studies and our results as the clinical pharmacy is a very important part of doing such studies. You need the collaboration and the involvement of clinical pharmacists to execute the study.
