Ed Moret is associate professor of computational medicinal chemistry at Utrecht University. After his PhD he went to The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, to work in the group where AutoDock was developed and he uses molecular docking ever since. He is research manager of the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences with almost 400 employees. Furthermore he is secretary of FIGON and secretary of the Raad voor de Farmaceutische Wetenschappen and board member of the Stichting Farmaceutisch Erfgoed. He teaches very diverse courses in pharmacy, college of pharmaceutical sciences, and drug innovation, like Future Medicines and Drug Development and Society.
