Everybody is Different: Implications of Body Composition and Microbiome in Relation to Medication Use

16 October 2024 | 14:15 - 15:45

No two people are alike and patients react differently on medicines. Body composition might play a significant role and the differences in response might be even more prominently present in patients with obesity or malnutrition. Also there is an interaction between the microbiome and medicines, influencing their pharmacological behavior. In this session these topics will be discussed. There is also possibility for 1-2 young researchers to present their abstract.
