Dr. Jeroen Lakerveld (Amsterdam UMC) is associate professor with the Department of Epidemiology and Data Science. He has a strong track record in studying and characterising built environmental factors and their influence on lifestyle behaviours and obesity. He leads the Upstream Team, a research group determined to support the prevention of lifestyle related chronic diseases by providing knowledge, tools and data on their upstream determinants and ways to change them.
