Linda Franken

Hospital Pharmacist & Postdoctoral Researcher, Amsterdam UMC

Linda Franken is a hospital pharmacist and postdoctoral researcher at Amsterdam UMC. She completed her PhD and specialist training at Erasmus MC, where she defended her thesis in 2018 titled “Drug Dosing at the End of Life: a Pharmacometric Approach”. This work, which focused on pharmacometric modeling in palliative care patients, was awarded the NVKFB Dissertation Prize. In 2021 she completed her specialization in hospital pharmacy at Erasmus MC, with a focus on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) and Toxicology.

Currently, she combines clinical work in the laboratory of clinical pharmacy at Amsterdam UMC with research in translational modeling, pediatric pharmacotherapy, and drug repurposing, particularly in the context of rare neurodevelopmental disorders. She is also a member of the expert panel at the Emma Center for Personalized Medicine, contributing to multidisciplinary efforts to advance individualized treatment strategies in pediatric care.
