Prof.dr. M.E.J. Reinders is Professor of Internal Medicine and has been a Member of the Executive Board of Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Leiden University since October 1, 2024. She has a background in internal medicine, nephrology, more specific kidney transplantation. Her chair focuses on Internal Medicine, innovation in education and research. She is responsible for research, education and valorisation within the LUMC and is member of different (Governance) Committees including Leiden Bio Science Park (LBSP), Medical Delta, Oncode, Renew and LUMC Foundation.
