Rick holds a Masters’ degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is a registered Pharmacist. Prior to joining Novartis, Rick worked as a community Pharmacist for three years. In May 2015 Rick started working for Novartis as Medical Scientific Liaison Neuroscience and took up the role of Therapeutic Area Head Neuroscience in the beginning of 2018. From April 2020 onwards Rick is leading the Medical Affairs department as Chief Medical Officer, covering all indications.
